Building an equitable future through design education.

Overview

The founding members of CCD are passionate about accessible design education, social and environmental justice and above all else creating a more equitable and connected future where architecture is a community-centered practice.

As sense of place is integral to architecture as well as community, inspiration for the logo was taken directly from a map of Barrio Logan, where CCD is located. The blue shapes represent surrounding cultural hubs that have shaped the community.
During a site visit, photographs were taken of the school and surrounding neighborhood. They were given a duotone, risograph-like filter and applied to the logo as well as some posters and graphics.
